AOL Travel Ford Stop in Finger Lakes Wine Country on their Road Trip Across America

Last week I had the pleasure of attending a Tweet Up (a real-life gather of people organized via Twitter) celebrating AOL Travel's Road Trip Across America. Blogger, Paul Brady, and videographer, Steve Greenwood, are traveling across the country sharing highlights from their trip. They stopped in Brooklyn last week which was circumstance enough to Tweet Up at reBar in the DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan and Brooklyn Overpasses - or Down Under the Manhattan Bride Overpass depending on your source - yes, I Googled it.) neighborhood in Brooklyn.  I had a chance to share some Finger Lakes wines - Riesling and Gewurztraminer, perfect with the fresh veggies, hummus, and spinach dip that was served as munchies. Overall, a great time toasting to the exciting adventures of this American road trip. (To follow use #AmericanRoad on Twitter)

We were excited to see Paul's first blog about his experience in Watkins Glen, "A Secret Lost World" - we couldn't agree more.  "The park is a verdant escape, a place for a one-hour break from reality, planted right in the heart of a town best known as a car-racing capital, the home to Watkins Glen International, one of the country's most storied road tracks," notes Paul.  Which leads to his second blog post about the iconic raceway

Make sure to watch the videos posted within the blogs. Such a great synopsis of his experiences. If this doesn't make you want to road trip to Finger Lakes Wine Country, I don't know what will!
