The month of September in Finger Lakes Wine Country marks the start of harvest and the most popular time of year to visit the region. It is a wonderful and exciting time filled with fall-inspired festivals and events.

Here are some noteworthy weekend events taking place throughout September:

Gates open at 7 a.m. each day. Tickets are available for purchase at the gate or at the ticket office. Admission is $50 for the weekend or $35 for Sunday-only tickets. Kids and teens 19 and under are FREE. Reserved camping is also available for the weekend.

The races takes place in conjunction with the annual and ever popular reenactment of the original 6.6 mile race during the Grand Prix Festival in downtown Watkins Glen. More information→
