Finger Lakes Garlic Festival Set to Return to Fox Run Vineyards in August


One of the summers most anticipated culinary events for garlic lovers is back for another year and bigger than ever with the 20thannual Glorious Garlic Festival at Fox Run Vineyards.

Taking place August 4 and 5th from 11am-5pm, garlic connoisseurs and fans alike are welcome to immerse themselves in all things garlic.  From white garlic pizza, and Italian sausage with peppers and onions, to garlic fries, homemade garlic hummus and a 40 clove pulled pork on a roll sandwich, this festival is a garlic lover’s dream.

Other events will include garlic cooking demonstrations by local Finger Lakes chefs, a garlic braiding demo with Peter S. Gambino, How to Grow Garlic seminar with Steve Kettelle, flower and farm vendors, garlic farmers, and flame working demonstrations by the Corning Museum of Glass.

Along with food and demonstrations, there will also be live music by Virginia Schwartz on Fiddle, Paradigm Shift, and Castle Street Band. 

Admission to the festival is free.  Fox Run Vineyards can be found nestled within Finger Lakes Wine Country on State Route 14, 20 miles north of Watkins Glen.
