“Trolley into Mark Twain Country” begins Friday! From 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., hop on “The Elmiran”, an authentic reproduction, and take the one-hour guided tour of Elmira. You’ll discover fascinating pieces of trivia about the Queen’s City and see the places where Mark Twain lived and wrote, including the Mark Twain Study on the campus of Elmira College. Catch the final tour of the day at 2 p.m. to see beautiful Harris Hill, the Soaring Capital of America, and the National Soaring Museum, which houses the largest collection of sailplanes in the world!

All riders on Opening Day will receive a free, limited-edition Twain poster. The trolley departs on the hour from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from the lobby of the Holiday Inn at 760 E. Water Street. Tours run Tuesdays through Saturdays from Friday, July 1st to Saturday, September 3rd. The fare is only $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 12 when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
