Harvest Holiday Fun at The Corning Museum of Glass

It's not too late to experience fall harvest fun in Finger Lakes Wine Country! There's still time to see the world's largest blown glass pumpkin at The Corning Museum of Glass (on display through Sunday, October 31). In addition to this giant glass pumpkin, The Corning Museum of Glass is home to over 40,000 glass pieces spanning over 35 centuries. From historic relics, to fine art, it's truely amazing to see the many different glass objects. Get hands-on in the Innovation Center and head over to The Studio for a 40-minute Make Your Own Glass session where you can actually make your own glass pumpkin now through the end of November.

There's plenty to look forward to with the holiday season quickly approaching. The giant, 14 foot, glass ornament tree will be on display and guests to The Corning Museum of Glass will experience a Glass Wonderland through November and December. Head to The Studio to Make Your Own Glass ornament. Don't forget to head to the Glass Market to do some holiday shopping! I always find great deals for all my friends and family there.

Did I mention that kids and teens are always free? Yes, anyone 19 years or younger will receive free admission to the Museum. Can't beat a deal like that. Learn more about this comprehensive and fun-for-the-whole-family Museum in Finger Lakes Wine Country by listening to the 15-minute podcast below.
